Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 Leaked in Press Renders, to Come in 4 Color Options
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Samsung is long rumored to launch the 2017 Galaxy J-series devices. Earlier, we have seen the Galaxy J3 2017 launch in the U.S, and today we got the first look of the Galaxy J7 2017 from the leaked image. After launching the Galaxy J7 2016, the company came up with the Galaxy J7 Prime instead of launching the Galaxy J7 2017. Though there is no official confirmation of the launch date of the 2017 Galaxy J smartphones, we expect Samsung to launch these devices in the next few weeks. The newly leaked press renders suggest a new design for the upcoming Galaxy J7 2017 smartphone.
As seen with the earlier launched Galaxy J smartphones, we expect the Galaxy J5 2017 also comes out with the same design. The device comes with an all-metal body with a slight curve on the rear and a 2.5D glass on the front. On the right side edge, we can spot the power button and loudspeaker. The volume rocker along with dual SIM card slot and MicroSD card slot are on the left edge. While all the latest metal build smartphones come with Antenna bands placed across the top and bottom edges, the upcoming Galaxy J7 2017 has them in the inverted direction.
The camera module on the top rear holds the primary camera and LED flash. On the front is a physical home button along with two capacitive buttons on either side of it. The physical home button might also come integrated with a fingerprint sensor. The 3.5mm audio port and MicroUSB 2.0 port are placed on the bottom edge. Looking at the above image, the device might come in Blue, Pink, Gold, and Black color options. Talking about the rumored specifications, the Galaxy J7 2017 will sport a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display on the front.
It will be powered by the in-house Exynos 7870 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. With the MicroSD card slot, the user can further expand the storage on this device. The device will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with the customized TouchWiz UI on top. We might also see big improvements in the camera section, the Galaxy J7 2017 is said to sport 12MP sensors on the front and back of the device. The new 2017 Galaxy J smartphones with aggressive pricing might give Samsung an edge over the Chinese manufacturers in the mid-range segment.
