Analysts Predict That The Upcoming Flagships From Samsung Will Carry Dual Cameras

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

Samsung is all set to launch the new Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in a couple of weeks from now. The same has been officially confirmed by the company as well. There are a ton of rumors about the smartphone already, however, the one which most people are excited about the fact that it will sport a dual rear camera setup at the back. But if you are planning on buying this new upcoming smartphone only for the dual camera setup, then you might want to hold back, since now it has been reported that the company is planning on fitting most of its upcoming flagship smartphones with the same setup.

According to the analyst Kim Rok-ho from Hana Financial Investment and Park Hyug-woo, an analyst at Shinhan Investment, the supplies of dual camera modules for Samsung Electronics’ flagship model starting in the latter half this year will also contribute to the profits of Samsung Electro-Mechanics for the next year and it will continue to do so for the next two years. Yes, it has been reported that the next Galaxy S series smartphone and even the next Note will be fitted a dual camera module.

It has also been reported that the Electro-Mechanics division will keep posting high profits throughout this period. It looks like the division’s revenue may hit about $10 billion in 2019, and this is quite high of a number, to begin with. However, in order for this to be able to happen, the company’s dual camera setup needs to be significantly better right from the start. Considering the fact that there are a ton of competitors out there offering similar technology, Samsung cannot afford to make any mistakes.

However, the patents which the company has filed points towards a really powerful camera setup. It showcases optical stabilization, 3x zoom capability, etc. Multiple reports also state that the company’s dual camera solution will be far better than the one on other flagships on the market right now. Now it’s just a matter of waiting for the Note 8 to launch so that we get some hands-on experience with the device. Having said that, we would like to know your thoughts on this and hence we suggest you head over to the comment section below and let us know.
