Although Motorola has not announced it officially, many have begun receiving this update. The Nougat update for this device in the US was rolled out recently in the month of April and was followed by Brazil.

This new update is being rolled out via OTA update, and it might take some time to reach your device. But if you cannot wait till the update hits your device, you can also do it manually by heading into the settings of the handset and then select the system update option. If the update is available for download, you need to make sure there is enough storage in the device and then download it. Once the download is complete, the user needs to backup all the important data and ensure that the battery on the handset is more than 60 percent so that the device won’t switch off while the installation process is going on.

The device is available 16/32/64 GB storage options, and it can also be extended further upto a maximum of 128GB via microSD card.

There is a 5.7-inch LCD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolutions giving a pixel density of 520PPI and has Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. There is a 21MP camera on the rear that can shoot 4K videos, and it is accompanied with 5MP selfie camera with front flash.
