Samsung Galaxy J3 Eclipse is a new device from the South Korean Giant which will be available exclusively via the U.S carrier Verizon. The device can be bought for $168 down payment or even for monthly payment of $7 for 24 months for selected customers. The device is only available online on Verizon website, and a One-time activation fee of $30 is charged initially. This new handset comes with a sleek design making it easier to carry.
Coming to the specification of this device, the Galaxy J3 Eclipse sports a 5.0-inch touchscreen display and also supports 4G LTE connectivity. Under the hood, there is a Quad core processor with a clocking speed of 1.4GHz coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. The onboard storage of this handset is limited to 16GB which can be further extended up to a maximum of 256GB via microSD card slot.
Out of the box, this device from Samsung will feature Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and might get further updates in the future. There is a 2600mAh battery placed on the back of the handset to power the device which will give a standby time up to 14 days and usage time up to 28 hours. The SAR value of the device at Head is 0.71 W/Kg and 0.82 W/Kg at the body. Moreover, the device will come with the pre-installed SIM and will come with other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS and few more.
The Galaxy J3 Eclipse comes with many battery saving options wherein the Ultra power saving mode will minimize the background apps and will dim the brightness of the screen which will make the device last for longer periods of time.
