You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone has been out there in the news for a while now. This is expected to be launch in a couple of months which will replace the Galaxy Note 5 smartphone as a new variant in the series. However, we now have a new report which suggests that the company is planning something really big with the Galaxy Note 8. Yes, we now have a new leak which points towards a new Galaxy Note 8 AR.
In the new images posted by the source, of what is said to be the Galaxy Note 8 AR, we can a very different camera module. According to the source, this is the setup which the company is going for in order to fit the Galaxy Note 8 AR with some unique AR capabilities like the ZenFone AR from ASUS, which unveiled earlier. The alleged new Galaxy Note 8 AR is said to sport a 21MP f/1.7 lens with complete AR support. Well, this certainly sounds like an interesting idea, since this is something new from the company.
However, do make a note that this is not officially confirmed. In fact, the source of this information is also fairly new who has reported only two leaks so far. Both of them can’t be confirmed since they both are related to the Note 8 as well and the smartphone is yet to be made official. This only goes to say that you take this information with a pinch of salt and wait for any further news related to this. But considering that fact that Samsung is already planning on launching a $1,000 Galaxy Note 8, this could be a really bad idea as fitting it with AR capabilities is only going to make it more expensive.
However, this is really interesting to learn that the company is continuously working on new ways to innovate and bring something new to the market. AR certainly seems to be the hot trend since even other manufacturers like Apple have shown their interest in this field. As mentioned earlier, this info is not yet official and we suggest you wait for more info on this. Having said that, we would like to know your thoughts on this.
