InFocus A1s Launched in India with Android 7.0 Nougat for Rs. 5499

InFocus has launched a new device in India called as the A1s which will be an addition to the companies A series. The device will be the sibling of the Infocus A1 that was launched in the country for a price of Rs. 4,499 and this new device is priced at Rs. 5,499. The A1s will be available in Gold color variant and the company is also providing one year of manufacture warranty for the phone and 6 months of warranty for the box accessories.

Coming to the specification of the handset, it will a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels giving a pixel density of 196ppi. Under the hood, it comes packed with an unknown 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with a small 1GB RAM. Out of the box, the device will sport Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and might not get further updates.

This is a dual SIM device that supports 4G LTE connectivity and has 8GB of onstage which can be extended further upto 64GB via microSD card slot. There is a 5MP camera on the rear with LED flash, accompanied with 2MP camera on the front. There is also a 2200mAh battery on the rear to power the device and there are other connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio and few more. There is no finger print sensor given along the device which has become mandatory even with entry level devices.

The device measures 7.3mm of thickness and is weighing around 143 grams.
