Lenovo Launches K8 Plus with dual rear cameras for Rs.10,999 in India

Lenovo has launched its K8 Plus Smartphone in India today for a price of Rs. 10,999. This device will be the latest addition to the companies K series and recently we have seen the launch of K8 Note which was priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 32GB storage variant. The device will be available in Gold and Venom Black color variants and will be on sale starting tomorrow via Flipkart. It comes with an unibody metal design and also has a dedicated hardware Music key to play or pause music which can also be customised accordingly to launch any other app.
Moreover, the company is also providing many launch offers along with the device which includes a buy back guarantee up to Rs. 5000, Moto Pulse 2 headphones worth Rs. 1599 at Rs. 599, extra 15 percent off during the fashion and lifestyle sale on Flipkart, up to 30GB additional Jio data and up to Rs. 10,000 off on exchange of old phones. Coming to the device, the K8 Plus will be sporting 5.2-inch FHD display with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the top.
Under the hood, there is an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 16nm processor with a clocking speed of 2.5GHz coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and Mali-T880. Out of the box, the device will be sporting Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. The onboard storage is 32Gb that could be extended further up to a maximum of 128GB via microSD card slot. There is also a fingerprint sensor to enhance the security levels and improve online transactions.
The K8 Plus has a 13MP main sensor with Larger 5P lens and has a dual-tone LED flash along with g/2.0 aperture size. This will be accompanied with a secondary 5MP camera on the rear and for selfies, there is an 8MP camera with LED flash and 84-degree wide angle lens. To power the handset there is a 4000mAh battery built in and will support 4G VoLTE connectivity along with Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS and USB OTG.
