New OnePlus 5 JCC Limited Edition Smartphone Looks Stunning with Colored Buttons

As announced earlier, OnePlus in collaboration with the French Designer Castelbajac launched the special variant of the OnePlus 5 called as OnePlus 5 JCC Limited Edition. Even last year, the company launched a special variant called OnePlus 3T Colette Edition in collaboration with Colette. Now, the new OnePlus 5 JCC Limited Edition comes with an exclusive design featuring bright colored hardware buttons along with an English script in Castelbajac’s signature style engraved on the rear.

Coming to the long message on the rear, it reads “This is not just a cell phone, it’s a creative device for artists, fashion experts, catcher ideas. you can also use it as a phone – One + JC de Castelbajac Collection.” The OnePlus 5 JCC Limited Edition is priced at €559  (approx $670 / Rs. 43,000) and will go on sale through Oneplus.net starting October 2nd in very limited quantity. Before to that, this special edition device will be sold via the pop-up event in Colette’s retail store in Paris on September 22nd at 11 am CET.

It will be available only in 8GB RAM variant with 128GB of onboard storage. Along with the OnePlus 5 JCC Limited Edition smartphone, the company also launched few new accessories in Castelbajac’s signature style. The T-Shirt and Tote Bag are priced at €29.95 and €24.95 respectively. They also announced the baseball cap, case bag, and phone holster. The pricing is yet to be announced and will be available from October 2nd along with the OnePlus 5 JCC Limited Edition smartphone on Oneplus.net.

While the power button and volume rocker come in Blue and Red colors, the Alert slider on this special edition device is in Bright Yellow color. Talking about the specifications, they remain same as on the original OnePlus. It sports a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display with Full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, it comes powered by the 10nm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. For Selfies, there is a 16MP fixed focus camera with EIS and f/2.0 aperture.

On the rear is the 20MP + 16MP dual camera setup with PDAF, EIS, and 2X optical zoom. It is backed by a 3,300mAh non-removable and supports Dash Charge using the 5V/4A (20W) power adapter. Apart from this new special edition variant, the OnePlus 5 comes in Midnight Black, Slate Gray, Soft Gold color options.
