Panasonic P9 Smartphone Launched in India with 1GB RAM & 2210mAh Battery for Rs. 6290

Panasonic has launched another budget friendly device called as P9 which will be an addition to its P series. The device supports 4G VoLTE connectivity and is priced at Rs. 6,290. The handset will be available via Panasonic brand stores and retail outlets across the country. Moreover, it will be available in Gold and Black color variants and is expected to compete against many other entry level smartphones in the market.
The Panasonic P9 sports a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA display with Asahi Dragon Trail glass protection on top to protect the device from scratches and minor falls. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek MT6737M 64-bit SoC with four cores at a clocking speed of 1.1GHz coupled with Mali T720 GPU. There is 1GB of RAM storage which less considering even entry level devices are provided with 2GB RAM. The handset measures 144.5 mm× 72.95 mm × 8.6 mm and weighs 144 grams.
The onboard storage is limited to 16GB which can be extended further upto a maximum of 32GB via microSD card. This is a dual SIM variant and will come out of the box with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. On the rear, there is an 8MP main camera with LED flash and f/2 aperture size which will be accompanied with 5MP selfie camera. The connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and A-GPS. On the back, there is a 2210mAh battery to power this handset.
