Earlier this year, Micromax introduced the new Bharat series to launch the low-cost 4G VoLTE smartphones. It even launched the Bharat 2 VoLTE smartphone with a 4-inch display for Rs. 3,499. The leaks also revealed the Bharat 1 feature phone with 4G VoLTE support. While there is no official information about the Bharat 1, it is said to be launched for Rs. 999. With the entry of Jio 4G, there is a huge demand for VoLTE smartphones priced under the Rs. 5,000. Along with all the local manufacturers, we have seen quite a few launches from the newly entered Chinese smartphone manufacturers like LePhone and iVoomi.

Now, the latest information from our source suggests two new Micromax smartphone launches under the Bharat series. The Micromax Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 will be soon launched in the market for Rs. 4,499 and Rs. 4,999 respectively. Though these two upcoming smartphones come with different screen sizes, they share the same design with curved edges on the rear and 2.5D glass on the front. Apart from the volume rocker and power button, there is an additional hardware button called Smart Key. It can be used for capturing quick screenshots or switching to silent mode.

The smartphones also support 22 Indian regional languages on the system level. Both the Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 smartphones come in Black and Gold color options. The device support 4G VoLTE connectivity and works flawlessly with the Jio 4G SIM. While the Micromax Bharat 3 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display, the Bharat 4 sports a 5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, both the devices are powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.

The Bharat 3 packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage that can be further expandable up to 32GB. On the other hand, the Bharat 4 comes with the same 1GB of RAM but the internal storage doubled up to 16GB. In the camera department, the Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 features 5MP cameras on the front and rear with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. The devices will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The Bharath 3 and Bharat 4 smartphones are backed by a 2,000mAh and 2,500mAh battery capacities respectively.
