Samsung Galaxy C8 Smartphone Announced with 5.5” Display & 3GB RAM

Samsung Galaxy C8 smartphone has been announced which is the Chinese version of the Galaxy J7 Plus which was released recently. The handset comes with a metal unibody design and has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. The device will be available n Gold, Black and Rose Gold color variants and is expected to go on sale in China soon and will be followed by global launch.
Coming to this device, the Galaxy C8 will sport a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED with 2.5D curved glass display. Under the hood, we can find a MediaTek Helio P20 Octa-Core (2.39GHz + 1.69GHz) 64-bit 16nm processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and ARM Mali T880 GPU. There are two storage options 32GB and 64GB which can be extended further upto 256GB via microSD card slot.
This dual SIM variant smartphone supports 4G VoLTE connectivity and will come out of the box with the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system, which could be getting further updates also. There is a 13MP camera on the rear which comes with LED flash and f/1.7 aperture size and is accompanied with a 5MP secondary camera. On the front side, there is a 16MP selfie camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture size.
To power the device there is a 3000mAh battery which will give talk time up to 90 hours and up to 329 hours of standby. There are connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi Direct support, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, A-GPS and Micro USB port. To automate the handset, there are sensors like Gyroscope, Magnetic sensor, Light sensor, Proximity and few more.
Measuring 152.4 x 74.7 x 7.9 mm in dimensions the Galaxy C8 measures 180 grams its metal unibody design. The South Korean Giant has not revealed the price of this yet but expected to be announced soon. Are you going to get this budget friendly device?
