Alcatel Shine Lite Smartphone with MediaTek MT6737 SoC & 2GB RAM launched for 199 Euros

Alcatel Shine Lite

Alcatel Shine Lite is the new device that has been added in the entry level segment. Alcatel has showcased this device in the event at IFA, and it will go for sale for a price of 199 Euros. This French based company has released many devices in the recent past but was not able to make a significant impact. A couple of days back, the company also released Alcatel Fierce 4 and Alcatel TRU which are also entry level devices that went for sale through different carriers.

There is a 5-inch diagonal touchscreen display with HD resolution and 2.5 D technology. To power the device there is a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.3 GHz coupled with 2GB RAM. The onboard memory of the device is at 16 GB that can further extend via microSD card. There is a 13 MP camera on the rear accompanied by 5 MP camera on the front.

The Alcatel Shine Lite will come out of the box with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, and there is a 2460 mAh battery on the back to power it which should be enough to a last an entire day charge on normal usage.
We are not yet sure about the availability of the device but will be hoping to see it getting rolled out globally.

For now, the handset will be available in White and Gold colour variants which go on sale from November. Looking at the specifications of the device, we would love to use this device and come to a conclusion about the performance and it will be competing with the devices in the similar price bracket like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Lenovo K3 Note and few other devices.
