LG unveiled the new X series smartphones at the MWC 2016 in February this year. Later the company launched quite a few devices under this series. The LG X Screen and X Cam are also made available in the Indian market. A new smartphone LG X Power is now launched in the U.S by Sprint and Boost Mobile. It is priced at $130 without a contract from Boost Mobile while selected users can get $0 down payment from Sprint.
The device sports a 5.3-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755M) octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. This is also first MediaTek powered smartphone to be offered by one of the major U.S carriers. While the other variant of LG X Power offered by Cricket Wireless comes with Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor.
It includes 16GB of internal storage and can be expanded upto 128GB with the MicroSD card slot. The LG X Power runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the UX UI laid on top. It is backed by a 2,300mAh battery which might not last more than a day of usage.
On the other hand, the LG X Cam comes with the dual rear camera and a 5.2-inch Full HD display. Apart from the slightly better battery and 13MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, rest of the specifications remains same as on LG X Screen.
