TP-Link Launches Neffos X1 & X1 Max Smartphones with Helio P10 SoC & 13MP Camera
In January this year, TP-Link re-entered the smartphone market by launching the new Neffos brand. The Neffos C5L, C5, and C5 Max are the first set of devices and a few days back; the company also unveiled the Neffos Y5 smartphone with entry-level specifications. Now at the IFA 2016, the company launched two new smartphones called Neffos X1 and Neffos X1 Max. Though the devices come in different sizes, both of them feature the similar design with metal build body. The devices run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
The Neffos X1 comes with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display whereas the Neffos X1 Max sports 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. There is also Gorilla Glass protection on top. Under the hood, the devices are powered by MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. The Neffos X1 comes in two variants with 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. On the other hand, the Neffos X1 Max will be available in 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variants.
Both the devices will also include MicroSD card slot for storage expansion upto 128GB. On the camera front, the devices pack 13MP PDAF rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Both the devices support dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE. The Neffos X1 is backed by a 2,250mAh battery while the X1 Max is kept powered on by a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ GLONASS, GALILEO, and MicroUSB 2.0 port.
The devices will be available in Cloudy Grey and Sunrise Gold colour options. Coming to the pricing, the Neffos X1 is priced at €199 while the Neffos Z1 Max costs €249. As of now, there is no information about the availability of these devices.
