ZTE Axon 7 Mini Smartphone with 5.2″ Display & Snapdragon 617 SoC announced
ZTE launched the Axon 7 smartphone recently, and it quickly became famous for being one of the affordable premium smartphones available in the market. And now yet again, the company has managed to do the same with a mini version. ZTE announced the new Axon 7 Mini, and just like the previous one, this one also looks quite promising. Well, it is not all perfect by itself but it is still a very good smartphone.
The new ZTE Axon 7 Mini comes with a 5.2-inch AMOLED FHD display on the front which is a little smaller than the original Axon 7. It again has the same front-facing stereo speakers just like the previous one and hence it makes the device a bit tall for a ‘Mini’ version. These are the same speakers with Dolby Atmos sound, which is powered by a dedicated audio chip. Talking about other hardware parts, it is powered by the Snapdragon 617 processor. It packs 3GB of RAM & 32GB of internal storage as well.
You can also go for a 4GB RAM variant which comes with 64GB of internal storage. You can also add extra storage via the microSD card slot. For the camera, we have a 16-megapixel rear facing shooter with f/1.9 aperture. There is no OIS this time and 4K recording as well. It retains the same 8-megapixel front facing camera from the big Axon 7.
If you think it is a great smartphone, then you can go ahead and purchase it starting September. The device is priced at €300 in Europe. The device is also going to be available in USA, India, Japan, Australia and Saudi Arabia. Sadly we don’t have an exact date of availability to report yet and also the pricing is not known. However, stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more details on this smartphone as we will update once we have more info.
