Blackgold Nubia Z11 with Bezel-less Display & 6GB RAM Launched in India

A couple of months back, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Nubia launched the Nubia Z11 Mini as the successor to last year’s Nubia Z9 Mini. At the IFA 2016 held in September 2016, the company announced to launch the premium smartphone Nubia Z11 in India. Now, the day has finally arrived; Nubia has officially launched the Nubia Z11 smartphone today in the Indian market. The device will be available in Blackgold color which comes with matte finish Black metal body. The Gold colored frame and antenna bands give a premium look to the device. The Nubia Z11 sports a 2.5D 5.5-inch true bezel-less display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Unlike the Mi MIX which is left with no protection, Nubia is offering a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.

Last year’s Nubia Z9 also came with the similar two-sided bezel-less display. Though there are devices like OnePlus 3T and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 which comes with latest 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 SoC, the Nubia Z11 packs a 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 quad-core SoC coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. It includes 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be further expanded upto another 200GB via MicroSD slot. In China, the company also launched the 4GB RAM variant with 32GB of internal storage. Talking about the camera, there is a 16MP IMX298 sensor with PDAF, OIS, and f/2.0 aperture. On the front is an 8MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens. Both the front and rear cameras are protected by a Sapphire Glass.

The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. Below the display, we can find the iconic red dot capacitive home button. It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear of the device. The dedicated AK4376 audio chip along with Dolby Atmos Surround Sound technology provides a Hi-Fi sound output on this device. With the FiT 2.0 (Frame Interactive Technology) support, the user can control the device with simple gestures on the frame of the device. It support dual SIM dual standby with the hybrid SIM slot where the user can opt either for a secondary SIM or a MicroSD card.

Connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, and USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Nubia UI 4.0. The Nubia Z11 measures 151.8 x 72.3 x 7.7 mm and weighs 162 grams. It is priced at Rs. 29,999 and is exclusively sold through Amazon India.
