Videocon launches Ultra 30 Smartphone with 5” Display & 3GB RAM, price ₹8,990

Indian company Videocon launched a new smartphone Ultra 30 in the market. The new Ultra 30 listed on e-commerce website Snapdeal with best buy price INR 8,590. The smartphone comes in Blue Gold color. Snapdeal is also offering additional 10% discount on all credit and debit cards as well with this smartphone. Previously, the company also launched Videocon Ultra 50 in the ultra series with a price tag of ₹8,990. The smartphone was launched in October month this year.
Talking about the specifications of the Ultra 30, it comes with 5-inch HD IPS display along with 1280 x 720-pixel resolution. The display comes with Dragontrail X 2.5D curved Glass for protection against the scratches and cracks. It also comes with Mira Vision that supports advanced content up-scaling.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It powered by 1.3GHz quad-core 64-bit Mediatek processor. There is 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage on board along with up to 64GB memory card support.
Talking about the camera of the smartphone, it has 13MP rear camera along with dual flash at the back. The rear camera also supports PDAF, Face Detection, Smile Shutter, Geo-Tagging, HDR, Panorama and Night Vision. On the other hand, there is a 5MP front-facing the camera for the selfie. The front camera also comes with LED flash so it can capture images in low light condition as well. The front camera also supports tap to capture, continuous support and beauty mode. The smartphone comes with 4000mAh Li-ion battery which company claims can deliver up to 8 hours of talk time on 4G connectivity, up to 5 hours while playing videos and can last up to 15 hours while listening music. The battery of the smartphone also supports 20% fast charging.
It also comes with dual WhatsApp connectivity means you can use two numbers on Whatsapp on this smartphone. On the connectivity front, it is a dual SIM smartphone with 4G VoLTE connectivity. There is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS support as well. It also supports smart gesture like draw C, and it will open the Camera app. Along with the smartphone, Videocon also giving one-year subscription of Eron Now for free. Plus it is also giving some Gameloft games worth ₹99. The dimension of the smartphone is 144×73.8×9.8mm and it weighs around 166.5 grams.
On the other hand, recently launched Videocon Ultra 50 comes with a 5-inch display and same 32GB internal storage. But there was up to 128GB memory card support. It powered by 1.0GHz MediaTek quad-core processor along with 3GB RAM and Mali GPU. There is the 3000mAh battery. It runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box. There is 13MP rear and 5MP front camera same as Ultra 30.
