Fossil adds three new hybrid watch models to its existing line up of smartwatch

Hybrid watches are nothing new to us as we have already seen a lot of them previously. If you have no idea on what are, these are the watches that look like a regular watches, but on the other hand, they do pack some smart features. Lately, these are becoming are popular than the traditional smartwatches since they are quite minimal and offers pretty much most of the features of a smartwatch if not all of them. And talking about the available options on these hybrid watches, we now have a few more of them in the market, thanks to Fossil. Fossil has been quite aggressive with its smartwatches line up as we saw a number of options from them this year. On the same lines, these new hybrid watches will also join the existing smartwatches.

Fossil has announced three new hybrid models at the Baselworld 2016, which is known to be one of the biggest watch and jewelry expos. Fossil has announced the Diesel, Kate Spade, and Emporio Armani hybrid watches. All the three models are hybrid models and have a dedicated Android and iOS compatible apps as well. If you take a look at them closely, then it is not hard to notice that all the models have three buttons on the right side which will allow users to control the watch and perform some functions. These different functional include checking your activity, view second-time-zone or ability to remotely control your smartphone camera and others.

As mentioned earlier, all of them have a dedicated app, in fact, each brand has its own specific app. Users can use this dedicated app to control a lot of things like filtering notifications, etc. It is also worth noting that you don’t have to worry about any battery drain issues, etc. since they all have the typical coin cell batteries that should be good for around six months or so. All the models have different design language and come in various options to choose from. The DieselOn Time Hybrid smartwatch is available in five models with a stainless steel casing and leather strap with different color options.

The Kate Spade hybrid smartwatch, on the other hand, will be available in three models which include rose gold, silver and gold casing. The Emporio Armani connected hybrid smartwatch again comes in five models with a variety of different casing and strap options to choose from. Well, talking about the pricing and availability of these hybrid smart watches, the Kate Spade variants will be from their official website and select retailers by the end of this year for about $250 which roughly translates to about 17,000 INR. Pricing for both the DieselOn Time and Armani Emporio is not available yet but both of them available by the end of this year as well. Stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more details on them.
