Intex Aqua 4.0 4G Smartphone Launched with Android Marshmallow & VoLTE Launched at Rs. 4199

Intex Aqua 4.0 4G is a new entry level device that has been launched for Rs. 4,199. With the tagline “Experience Everything Bigger & Better” the device comes with 4G VoLTE support and is also a dual SIM variant. This new handset is included in its famous Aqua series and will be the successor of the Intex Aqua that was launched last year. We have also seen the company launching its Intex Young 4G Smartphone for Rs. 5849. Intex has been pushing hard to provide affordable handsets across India and has been launching many devices for the same.

The Intex Aqua 4.0 4G comes with 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) AMOLED display. It will also come with a glass on top to protect the display from scratches and minor falls. Under the hood, there is 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with a mere 512MB RAM which is very low considering other entry level devices which are in similar price range. Out of the box, it will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but it won’t be getting the further updates considering its specifications.

On the camera front, we cannot expect much as it comes with a 2MP sensor on the rear with LED flash which will be accompanied by a VGA camera on the front for video calling and selfies. Interestingly the handset supports VoLTE connectivity which has become an important factor in this modern era while it also supports Dual SIM connectivity. The onboard memory of the Intex Aqua 4.0 4G is 4GBwhich can be further extended up to a maximum of 32GB via microSD card slot.

There are other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, A-GPS and few others. On the rear, there is a 1500mAh battery to power the handset ad comes with a 3.5mm audio jack along with FM Radio. the device comes in Black, Blue and Champagne Gold color variants.
