HTC Ocean Life Smartphone Surfaces online with Android 7.1.1 and 5.2” Display

The famous HTC tipster LlabTooFer on Twitter has shared that HTC is working on a new mid-tyre smartphone which will be added to the U series. The device will be called as HTC Ocean Life, but nothing is known about the launch date and pricing of this handset yet. Recently we have seen that HTC’s flagship device U11 was also included in the U series and the company is planning to launch a cheaper version of it.
According to the leaks, the handset will come with a 5.2-inch 1080p display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC. The device will run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box and sports a 16MP camera sensor on the rear as well on the front. There is also a 2600mAh battery on the back to keep the device power on and has the support of Bluetooth v5.0 to connect with various devices. The HTC Ocean Life will be featuring Sense 9.0 and will also come with Edge Sense and HTC USonic features.
This Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer has recently announced its flagship model HTC U11 and was recently crowned as the best performing device on Antutu benchmarking scores. This device is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and features a 5.5-inch QHD display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Moreover, it comes with 6GB RAM and has 128GB of internal storage that can be extended further upto 2TB via microSD card slot.
There is a 12MP main sensor which is a ultra-pixel camera with larger pixel and aperture size of f/1.7. There is a 300mAh battery and will run on Android 7.1 Operating system based on HTC’s custom UI on top. It also came with Squeeze technology that lets the user launch games, apps and does many other things just by pressing the sides of the handset.
