Huawei Trademarks P20 Moniker, Expected To Launch By The End of This Year

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei is expected to launch the successor to the P10 smartphone this year. The company has in fact even registered a trademark for the same. Yes, according to the new report which we have, the company has now trademarked the P20 Moniker which means that we could be seeing the launch of the same happening anytime before the end of this year.

Now considering the fact that they launched the P10 smartphone just a couple of months back, it is really surprising to see things moving so fast. However, do make a note that it is not confirmed if they will be launching the smartphone so early. The fact that they have now registered for the trademark could simply mean that they are just getting ready, well in advance. But since the source claims that they are planning to launch it by the end of this year, we suggest you consider it with a pinch of salt.

It is expected that the Huawei P20 will be an upgraded version of the previously launched Huawei P10 Plus smartphone. It looks like the Huawei P20 will be powered by the Kirin 960 64-bit Octa-core processor. This is expected to be coupled with 6GB/ 8GB RAM. Apart from that, the rumors also talk about the device having 5.7-inch QHD with curved edges on the sides. It has also been reported that the smartphone will be kept powered by a 4,000 mAh battery.

Talking about the camera, just like the other P series smartphone that was launched recently, the Huawei P20 is also expected to sport a Dual-rear camera setup. The camera details are not available as of now, however, we hope it will be an upgrade from the P10 smartphones. On the other hand, if you have been following the news lately, then you might already be aware of the fact that company is planning on launching the new Kirin 970 SoC later this year.
