LG Q6 Smartphone to be Announced with 5.4″ 18.5:9 Screen on June 11

LG has officially announced that it is going to launch the Q6 smartphone in an event scheduled in Poland. Earlier there were rumors about LG’s plan of launching the mini variant of its flagship device LG G6, then it was rumored to be called as LG Q6. According to the official teaser from LG, The device will be a Premier smartphone along with #LGBarbeQ and also invites to the premier of LG Q6 in Poland.

As per earlier rumors, the LG Q6 will sport a 5.4-inch display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and is expected to come with minimal bezel size the body to screen ratio is less than 80 percent. Moreover, the handset will come with 3GB of RAM and will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 SoC. The device will come with a single 13MP camera instead of the dual rear camera setup we have seen on G6.

While the G6 sports a 5.7-inch Full vision display with QHD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) OLED panel is giving an aspect ratio of 18:9 giving a pixel density of 564 PPI. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. The device comes out of the box with Android Nougat and is IP68 rated for dust and water proof. There is a 3300mAh non-removable battery on the back that comes with fast charging technology.

The LG G6 will be available in 32GB as well as 64GB storage variants, and it can be further extended up to 256GB via microSD card slot. Coming to the camera, the rear side of the handset sports a 13MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS 2.0, and another 13MP wide-angle sensor offering f/2.4 aperture and 125-degree wide-angle lens. There is a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 100-degree wide angle lens for selfies.
