Nubia N2 with 16MP Selfie Camera & 5,000mAh Battery Listed on Amazon India

Back in March, the Chinese smartphone maker, Nubia launched the Nubia M2, Nubia M2 Lite, and Nubia N2 in China. While the company newly introduced the M-series by launching the M2 and M2 Lite, the Nubia N2 is the successor to last year’s Nubia N1. A couple of months, Nubia launched the Nubia M2 Lite here in India for Rs. 13,999. Now, the Nubia N2 listing is found on Amazon India, and the company is also teasing the launch of a new camera-centric smartphone that goes on sale from July 5th. It comes with a metal built unibody design featuring a physical home button with the iconic red circle. As seen on the other latest devices, the Antenna bands are placed along the top and bottom edges.

It also sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED panel with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It comes coupled with Mali-T860 GPU and 4GB of RAM. There is also 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded additional up to 128GB. The Chinese variant was launched with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow onboard, and there is no information about the Android 7.0 Nougat based Nubia UI update. It also supports dual SIM dual standby using the hybrid SIM slot. The physical home button on the front also comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor.

In the camera department, the Nubia N2 offers a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, PDAF, and LED flash. For selfies, there is a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens. While the rear camera remains same as on the Nubia N1, the front camera is upgraded from the 13MP sensor. As seen on its predecessor, the Nubia N2 is also backed by a 5,000mAh non-removable battery that is rated to give 60 hours of talk time and 41.4 hours of music streaming. It also supports fast charging using the 18W adapter. With such a large battery, the Nubia N2 measures 7.9mm thickness and weighs 180 grams.

The power button and hybrid SIM slot are placed on the right edge, while the volume rocker is on the left edge. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, 3.5mm Audio port, and USB Type-C Port. As seen with the earlier launched Nubia smartphones in India, the Nubia N2 will also be made exclusive to Amazon India. It will be available in Gold and Black Gold color options.
