Samsung Introduces Galaxy J7 Max as Galaxy On Max in India, Priced at Rs. 16,900
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Samsung launched the Galaxy J7 Max smartphone in India last month, which was priced decently for the specs that it brought to the table. However, now the company has again launched the same smartphone in India, but this time it goes by the name of Galaxy On Max. The Galaxy On Max is a Flipkart exclusive in India and it is priced at 16,900 INR. In terms of the specs, both the devices are identical, meaning the company has just launched the J7 Max as On Max in the Indian market.
The Samsung Galaxy On Max sports a 5.7-inch FHD display on the front, meaning that it has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Internally, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6757, which is an octa-core processor. This is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Users can also expand this storage upto 256GB via a microSD card for more files, media, etc. There is a 3,000 mAh battery which is running the show and the smartphone is running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Samsung’s TouchWiz.
Coming to the optics, the Galaxy On Max sports a 13MP sensor on both front and the back of the smartphone. The company is calling it as “Flagship camera” which is interesting since they didn’t claim anything like that with the J7 Max, although they both have the exact same camera. It also comes with a social camera mode which essentially allows users to produce live stickers with the cameras. This is a Dual-SIM smartphone and hence users can use two SIM cards with simultaneously.
The Galaxy On Max also comes with Samsung Pay Mini which will allow users to make mobile payments. As mentioned earlier, if you are interested in buying this smartphone, it is priced at 16,900 INR and since it is a Flipkart, you can’t buy it anywhere else. It will be available to purchase starting July 10th in two color options like Black and in Gold. The J7 Max, on the other hand, was priced at 17,900 INR at the time of the launch. Having said that, let us know your thoughts on this. Would you be interested in buying this smartphone? Be sure to drop a comment down below.
