Kult, the little-known Indian smartphone brand has launched its latest affordable smartphone called Kult Gladiator. Last month, the company came with the Kult Beyond smartphone priced at Rs. 6,999. Now, the new Kult Gladiator also costs Rs. 6,999 and packs similar specifications as on the Kult Beyond. While the Kult Gladiator sports a slightly larger display and bigger battery, the front camera sports a lower resolution sensor. It got a metal body with plastic covering on the top and bottom rear.

The device sports 5.5-inch On-Cell IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. There is also a 2.5D curved glass on the top. Under the hood is the 64-bit MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.25 GHz and comes coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. It includes 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a dedicated MicroSD card slot. On the rear of the device, we can spot the circular fingerprint sensor that can also be used for answering calls and capturing photos.

It supports dual SIM dual standby and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with preloaded Google Assistant. Talking about the cameras, there is a 13MP auto focus on the rear and an 8MP fixed focus camera on the front. Both the front and rear cameras come accompanied with LED flash. With all these specifications, the Kult Gladiator is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that should easily give more than a day long usage. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge of the device.

Connectivity options on the Kult Gladiator include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device measures 156.9 x 77.2 x 9.3 mm and packs a bunch of sensors including Accelerometer, Compass, Proximity, and Ambient Light Sensor.
