Samsung Galaxy J7+ Smartphone with Dual Rear Cameras & Bixby Home is Now Official

Samsung is rumored to launch the all-new Galaxy C8 smartphone with dual camera setup on September 7th in China. It is also expected to be the company’s first mid-smartphone with dual rear cameras. Even before the Galaxy C8, the company has officially launched the Galaxy J7+ smartphone in Thailand for THB 12,900 (approx $390 / Rs. 24,800). As leaked earlier, it comes with dual rear cameras featuring 13MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture. While there is no Dual OIS as seen on the Galaxy Note 8, the Galaxy J7+ at least offers Live Focus to control the amount of blur.
There is also 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display on the front with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and Always-on Display support. While the device comes with Bixby Home, it lacks the dedicated Boxby button as seen on the premium Galaxy devices. The Galaxy J7+ will be available for registrations till September 17th and the shipping begins from September 22nd. Those who pre-register through its official online stores (www.S-eStore.com) will get a free Samsung U Flex headphones worth THB 2,490 (approx $75 / Rs. 4,800). It comes in Gold, Pink, and Black color options.
Earlier: August 26, 2017 – Samsung has recently unveiled the Galaxy Note 8 as its first dual camera smartphone. The company is now getting ready to offer the same dual camera technology for the mid-range segment with its upcoming Galaxy J7+ smartphone. A few rumors also suggest the Galaxy J7+ is the same Galaxy J7 (2017) that was leaked earlier. The newly launched Galaxy Note 8 came with dual 12MP sensors with dual OIS. Coming to the Galaxy J7+, it sports a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP sensor. While the Galaxy J7+ lacks the Dual OIS, it includes the new Live Focus features introduced with the Galaxy Note 8.
It comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display and offers Full HD resolution. The Galaxy J7+ comes powered by the 2.39GHz Exynos 7870 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded additionally up to 256GB via a MicroSD card slot. The physical home button on the front also comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor. With the NFC and MST support, the device can be used for authorizing payments using the Samsung Pay.
The smartphone runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with TouchWiz UI laid on top. For selfies, there is a whopping 16MP shooter on the front with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. Interestingly, the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus, and Galaxy Note 8 came with an 8MP front facing camera. The Galaxy J7+ is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that might come with Adaptive fast charging technology. It will support dual-SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity.
The leaks also confirmed the Galaxy J7+ to come in Black, Gold, and Pink color options. As of now, there is no information on the pricing of this device.
