Vivo has finally unveiled the all-new selfie-centric smartphone dubbed Vivo V7 Plus. Though it is the successor to V5 Plus, the device is priced slightly lower at Rs. 21,990. It will be available through offline retail stores along with Flipkart and Amazon India. Though the V7 Plus lacks the dual selfie camera as seen on the V5 Plus, the company mentioned it to capture clearer selfies even with artificial bokeh effect. It comes with a unibody metal and features a fingerprint sensor on the rear. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor which were are seeing for the first time on a smartphone.

FullView Design
The smartphone manufacturers are going behind the displays with longer 18:9 aspect ratio and narrower bezels. While Samsung and LG introduced the Infinity and FullVision display technologies, Vivo came up with the FullView display technology. The Vivo V7 Plus sports a large 5.99-inch IPS display that fits into the chassis of a regular smartphone with a 5.5-inch display. However, the resolution is only limited to HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels). There is also a 2.5D curved glass on the top that gives a premium look. Even with a 5.99-inch display, the device offers comfortable grip to hold. It offers 84.4% screen-to-body ratio and the side bezels are just 2.15mm thick.
24MP Selfie Camera
The 20MP + 8MP dual camera on the front of V5 Plus is now replaced with a 24MP single camera. It is accompanied with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and soft LED flash. With the Bokeh Mode, the users can easily blur the background to just focus on the object or the person in the viewfinder. It comes combined with the Face beauty 7.0 algorithm that enhances the photos to looks better. The Face Beauty also works with video calling like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Viber.

Hi-Fi Audio
The Vivo smartphones are known to offer Hi-Fi audio output and the same is continuing with the newly launched V7 Plus. There is a dedicated 32-bit AK4376A audio chip with built-in headphone amplifier that gives Hi-Fi audio output. Instead of using the basic earphones, the premium earphones can clearly give the difference in output. The Hi-Fi DAC are normally offered with premium smartphones. Recently, LG launched the LG V30 smartphone with Hi-Fi quad DAC to give clearer sound output.
