Intex Cloud Matte Smartphone with 5″ FWVGA Display Launched at Rs. 3,999

Another entry-level smartphone has added to its portfolio in the category of Cloud series from Intex. It is called as Intex Cloud Matte and is now listed on their company’s website at a price tag of Rs. 3,999. The tagline of the smartphone is Style that Speaks For You and is limited to 3G network only. It comes powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. Nowadays, smartphones are offering good specifications with 4G LTE connectivity options and are also supporting Marshmallow OS.

The Intex Cloud Matte sports 5.0-inch IPS FWVGA display with 854 x 480 pixels resolutions and is offering a 196 PPI of pixel density. It is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection from scratches and minor drops. Under the hood, it comes powered by Spreadtrum SC7731G quad-core processor that clocks 1.2GHz coupled with 512 MB of RAM and ARM Mali 400MP2 GPU. There is an 8GB of internal storage; you can also expand the memory with microSD card slot up to 32GB.

The Intex Cloud Matte is the dual SIM smartphone and is limited to 3G network only. The other connectivity options include 2G, Edge / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro USB port, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio jack and AGPS / GLONASS. It is packed with a 2100 mAh capacity battery that is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and is giving a standby time up to 250 hours. It has VAS applications such as Online Software Update, Matrabhasha and Opera Mini.

Moving to camera department, the device comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, which can record videos up to 720p at 30 frames per second. On the front, there is a 2MP image sensor for selfies and video chat with you friends. The other camera features like Auto Focus, Face Beauty, Panorama Mode, Slow Motion Video. The SAR value is 0.779 W/Kg in 1g of Head and has a 0.796 W/Kg in 1g of Body and also comes with a RoHS compliant.

It is measured by 145.5 x 72.6 x 9.3 mm in dimensions and is weighing around 165 grams. The Intex Cloud Matte will be available in Champagne and Grey color variants. Recently, the company had launched the Intex Aqua HD 5.5 smartphone with basic level specifications at the cost of INR 5,899 and also introduced the flagship smartphone Intex Aqua S7 with fingerprint sensor at a price tag of Rs. 9,499.
