LeEco LeX652 with 13MP Dual Rear Cameras Spotted at Le Pro 3 Launch
Today, LeEco launched its latest flagship smartphone Le Pro 3 in China. The device comes in two variants with 4GB and 6GB of RAM but not in 8GB as leaked earlier. It comes powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC and measures just 7.5mm thickness, though it is powered by a 4,070mAh battery. Earlier this month, a new device with the model number LE X652 was certified by TENAA. It comes with dual camera setup on the rear. Now the same device was spotted at the Le Pro 3 launch event. Apart from the dual camera module, the design of the device looks similar to Le Pro 3.
This is said to be launched as Le 2S which will be the successor to the Le 1s that was launched in January 2016 in India. It sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution same as Le Pro 3. Under the hood, the device is powered by Helio X25 deca-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz. It also includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage while we can also expect another variant with higher RAM and storage capacity. The device will be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with the customized eUI 5.8 laid on top.
As seen on the above featured image, the device comes with 13MP dual cameras on the rear while on the front is a single 8MP sensor. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based LeEco’s eUI on top. It is backed by a 3,900mAh non-removable battery that can give at least a day of mixed usage. As seen with the Le 2 and Le Max 2, the upcoming device will also skip the 3.5mm audio port and come with CDLA technology where the users can use the Type-C for both charging and listening music through earphones.
The device measures 152.4 x 75.1 x 7.5 mm and weighs 168 grams. The listing also mentioned the Le X652 to be available in Gold, Silver, Black, Pink, and White color options. The LeEco Le 2 also came with the same 5.5-inch display and the Indian variant came with Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor. While the Le X652 come with 13MP dual cameras, the Le 2 sports 16MP single camera on the back. Both the device includes the fingerprint sensor placed on the back.
