Micromax Canvas 5 Lite Smartphone with 5″ Display & 2GB RAM Launched for Rs. 6499

It is another day, and another Micromax device is launched. Dubbed as the Micromax Canvas 5 Lite, this device will be the successor of the Canvas 5 which has seen a good success. Micromax is the 2nd largest smartphone brand in India, and the device is launched in the entry level segment considering the budget minded customers. Priced at Rs. 6499, this device will be exclusively available via Snapdeal from September 23rd. To enhance the feel and look of the device, Micromax has given a leather back with a metal body.

The Canvas 5 Lite sports a 5 inch HD IPS capacitive touch screen display which gives a pixel density of 294 PPI. To power the device there is a MediaTek Quad Core processor with a clocking speed of 1 GHZ coupled with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and Mali T720 GPU. The device supports 4G connectivity on the both the SIM slots, and it comes with an onboard memory of 16GB.

On the camera front, there is an 8 MP AF sensor on the rear, and it is accompanied with 5 MP camera on the front. Out of the box, the device comes with Android 5.1, and there is a 2000 mAh battery to power the device. Earlier We have seen Micromax launching Canvas 5 Lite with Wooden back and 3GB of RAM.
