Samsung Galaxy On8 Smartphone with Full HD sAMOLED Display to Launch Soon in India
Recently Samsung launched the Galaxy On5 2016 and Galaxy On7 2016 smartphones in China with an all metal body and fingerprint sensor. In July this year, the company also launched the Galaxy On5 Pro and Galaxy On7 Pro smartphones in India. These are the second iteration of the original Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 smartphones in their respective countries. Now, Samsung will soon launch a new smartphone in this Galaxy On series called Galaxy On8.
The device will be exclusively sold through Flipkart in India and we expect the device to be available during the Big Billion Days Sale starting from October 2nd. It is said to feature Super AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. This will also be the first smartphone in the Galaxy On series to sport a Super AMOLED display. While the Galaxy On devices in China are powered by Snapdragon processors, in India, they came with Exynos processors.
We also expect the Galaxy On8 to be powered by the Exynos processor. From the above featured image, we can see the volume rocker on the left edge of the device, while the power button will be placed on the right edge. Even the speaker grill can be expected on the right edge of the display, which we have seen with Galaxy j7 Prime. The Galaxy On5 2016 and On7 2016 launched in China also featured the speaker on the right edge of the display.
