TCL 520 Smartphone with 3GB RAM & Fingerprint scanner announced for 1290 Yuan in China

TCL is a Chinese multinational electronics company that develops, manufactures and sells Mobile phones, Air-conditioners, Washing machines, Television sets and other electrical appliances. Now the company has announced a new smartphone in Beijing, China, dubbed as TCL 520 and TCL calls it as a “Beauty phone.” The device will come in Black and White color variant and will be available for purchase from 30th of September for 1290 Yuan (Approx Rs. 12970). TCL has entered the Indian market with TCL 560 and TCL 562 smartphones and also announced few tvs in the same month. The device comes with a 2.5D curved glass panel in the front and features a metal frame on the rear. The handset comes with a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display with pixel density of 294 PPI. Under the hood, there is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and to power the device there is a 2460 mAh battery on the back. The onboard memory on the device is 32GB that can further be extended up to a maximum of 128GB via microSd card.

The TCL 520 has 13 MP camera sensor on the rear with a f/2.2 aperture and dual LED flash on its back accompanied with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfies and video calling. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner on its rear panel to enhance the security levels.
