Exclusive: Lenovo to launch K6 Note at Rs 14,999 & Rs 15,999 for 3GB & 4GB RAM

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

Lenovo had unveiled the K6, K6 Note, and K6 Power smartphones at the IFA 2016 held in September this year. Last month, Lenovo has launched the K6 Power with 3GB RAM in the Indian market for Rs. 9,999. Now, the company is getting ready to launch the K6 Note smartphone in India on December 14th. From our exclusive source, we came to know that the device will be available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants priced at Rs. 14,999 & Rs. 15,999 respectively. While the Lenovo K6 Power is available exclusively through Flipkart, the upcoming K6 Note will be sold through both offline and online stores.

The K6 Note will be the third device in the K-Note series to launch alone in 2016. While the Vibe K4 Note is officially launched here in India in January this year, the K5 Note was made available only in August. Just like its predecessor, the upcoming K6 Note also sports decent mid-range specifications but seems to be overpriced as its also sold via offline stores. It comes with an all metal body sporting a circular fingerprint sensor on the rear. The K6 Note sports a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution.

Under the hood is the same Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor as seen on the Lenovo K6 Power. It comes with 3GB and 4GB RAM variants and includes 32GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion upto another 128GB. Compared to the K6 Power, the K6 Note comes with a better rear camera; it sports a 16MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash. While on the front is the same 8MP selfie camera as seen on the K6 Power. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 marshmallow out of the box with the Vibe UI laid on top.

It is powered by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery that can provide decent battery life. Even the K6 Power with a smaller form factor also came with the same battery capacity. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge; the hybrid SIM slot can be found on the left edge. While the K6 Power came with dual stereo speakers on the rear, the K6 Note sports a single bottom facing speaker.
