Vivo Y66 Smartphone with 5.5″ HD Display & 3GB of RAM Launched at 1498 Yuan

Recently, the Vivo has launched the selfie-centric smartphone in China that is called as Vivo Y67 and is priced at 1798 Yuan. Now, the company has unveiled a new smartphone which is in the category of Y-series called as Vivo Y66 and is priced at 1498 Yuan. This smartphone first spotted on TENAA with two or more variants such as Vivo Y66 & Vivo Y66L. The design of the smartphone looks similar to the previously launched Vivo Y55 smartphone with an upgraded specifications.

The Vivo Y66 smartphone will sport a full metal body design and features the 5.5-inch HD TFT display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels while Vivo Y55 smartphone came with a 5.2-inch HD display. Under the hood, it would come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor that clocks at 1.4GHz that coupled with Adreno 505 GPU which is the same processor on the Vivo Y55L smartphone.

There is a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory over 16GB + 2GB of RAM on the Vivo Y55 smartphone. It can further expand memory up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It is running on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 3.0 and supports a dual SIM smartphone with a 4G LTE network. The volume rockers & power button can be found on the right edge of the device and speaker placements are given at the bottom edge of the device.

The Vivo Y66 smartphone can be packed with a 13MP primary camera with Digital Zoom and LED flash that can record videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. On the front, there is 5MP secondary camera with f2.2 aperture and beauty mode for selfies and video calling feature.
It would be equipped with a 3000mAh capacity battery. It would measure 153.56 x 75.79 x 7.49 mm dimensions and 157 grams of weight. It would be coming in Rose Gold and Silver color variants.

To Recall, recently, the Chinese handset maker has launched the three smartphones in China which are called as Vivo X9, Vivo X9 Plus and Vivo XPlay 6. These three smartphones came with a dual camera setup and fingerprint sensor embedded with a physical home button. The Vivo X9 smartphone is priced at 2998 Yuan for 128GB variant and 2798 Yuan for 64GB variant. The Vivo XPlay 6 smartphone is cost at 4498 Yuan and the Vivo X9 Plus smartphone pricing is not yet revealed; it would be announced on December 24th.
