Goqii goes Global with Amazon Launchpad, available in USA, Canada & UK

Goqii is now a global brand. Thanks to the partnership with the Amazon Launchpad program the brand’s offering is now available in the USA, Canada & the UK. There is no information yet on the pricing of the products since they are not yet listed on the Amazon store but we will update you once we have more information on this.
Earlier Aug 4th: The well known Indian Fitness band Goqii has launched a new Band at an event in Mumbai earlier today. Goqii is known for it’s subscription service which offers you coaching and other similar services. But now the wearable brand has announced that it is going to expand to include doctors and diagnostic centres as well. This will be a rather interesting offering to look forward to. So as usual, the company will not be selling these bands but instead will sell the subscription plans and the band will be off course offered for free along with that. But not the company has slashed the prices of this subscription. According to the new prices, you will be able to get the three months’ subscription for Rs. 1,999; six months for Rs. 2,999; & Rs. 3,999 for a year. The new heart rate equipped bands will be available later this year.
The application for this band which runs on your smartphone has been updated. The application now allows users to consult a doctor and carry out a health risk assessment. Goqii says the app will identify users habit and will offer some recommended suggestions to follow based on that. The company has partnered with the health diagnostic firm Thyrocare. This will allow users to see their diagnostic data from Thyrocare directly from within the Goqii app. This new version of Goqii app will be available on August 5th.
Talking about other collaborations, Goqii also announced that they have partnered with Max Healthcare, and the doctors there will have easy access to your Goqii data. Goqii also announced a tie up with Axis Bank to allow NFC payments through the fitness band. This will be initially be initially available to only Axis Bank customers. Axis Bank claims that users can use this feature at across 105,000 locations in India. Also the existing users will be able to upgrade to this new band for a small fee.
