MediaTek Helio X23 & Helio X27 deca-core processor unveiled

MediaTek has unveiled its two new deco-core processors namely Helio X23 and Helio X27 which are the successors of Helio X20 and Helio X25 which come under the Helio X20 family. This Taiwanese company is based at Hsinchu has been making chipsets for many smartphone makers like LeEco, Doogee, Meizu, Xiaomi, Sony, HTC, Gionee, LG, Lenovo and few more.
MediaTek Helio X23 and X27 comes with Mediatek Tri-Cluster Deca-core architecture with 2x ARM Cortex-A72 + 4x ARM Cortex-A53 + 4x ARM Cortex -A53 and MediaTek CorePilot 3.0 technology. These processors will support up to 4GB of 2x LPDDR3 800MHz RAM and have ARM Mali T880 MP4 GPU.
Jeffrey Ju, Executive Vice President and Co-Chief Operating Officer at MediaTek, said, The MediaTek Helio platform fulfills the diverse needs of device makers. Based on the success of MediaTek Helio X20 and X25, we are introducing the upgraded MediaTek Helio X23 and X27. The new SoCs support premium dual camera photography and provide best-in-class performance and power consumption,”
