Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro with 5.7″ Display & 3300mAh Battery Receives TENAA Certification

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

At the beginning of this year, Samsung had exclusively launched the new Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 smartphones in China. A couple of months back, the company also launched the Galaxy C9 Pro with a large 6-inch display and it is also the company’s first smartphone with 6GB RAM. From the past few weeks, Samsung is rumored to launch the Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro as the successors to the Galaxy C5 and C7 smartphones. Though the devices are expected to launch this month in China, the latest leaks suggest both the Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro to be available only in January 2017.

Now the Galaxy C7 Pro with the model number SM-C7010 is spotted on TENAA hinting the device launch imminent. As usually we got the first look of the device revealing the complete design. It comes with a complete metal body with the new antenna band design as seen on the Galaxy C9 Pro. With the slim form factor, the curved edges of this device can offer nice grip to hold. Instead of the one thick antenna band on top and bottom rear, the Galaxy C7 Pro features three thin antenna bands. We saw the similar design for the first time on the selfie-centric OPPO R9s and R9s Plus smartphones.

The power button and SIM card slot are placed on the right edge of the device, while the volume rocker can be found on the left edge. Coming to the specification part, we got to know only a couple of details. It sports a 5.7-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and is backed by 3,300mAh non-removable battery. The Galaxy C7 Pro runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the latest TouchWiz UI on top. By the time of its launch in January, we expect the device to come with latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Just like other Samsung smartphones, the physical home button on the front comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor. With all these specifications, the device measures 156.5 × 77.2 × 7.0 mm. It is rumored to powered by the latest Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. There will be 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot. In the camera department, the Galaxy C7 Pro might feature 16MP sensor on both front and back of the device. The Galaxy C9 Pro also came with the same camera setup and the Galaxy C5 Pro is also expected to feature the same sensors.

Since the launch is not too far away, we can expect the TENAA listing of Galaxy C5 Pro go live in the next few days. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for complete details regarding both the upcoming Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro smartphones.
