Honor 6X – The Perfect Smartphone in its Price Segment
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
The Honor 6X is Honor’s latest smartphone which has received a great response from the consumers across the globe. In India, the company launched this smartphone a couple of weeks back for a not so hefty price tag, starting from Rs. 12,999 that makes it yet another affordable smartphone offering in the market. The dual-lens cameras in a smartphone being the biggest design and technology trend these days, the Honor 6X remarkably embraces the trend, offering one of the best dual rear camera setups on a smartphone at this price bracket. After the launch of the Honor 8 smartphone, it is safe to say that Honor is not holding back when it comes to latest technological advancement like these. And now with this latest SWAG phone, they have hit the market really hard. But the real question is, is the dual-lens camera at the back, the only good thing about the Honor 6X smartphone? The answer is a surprising NO!
The Honor 6X, as mentioned earlier, is priced very aggressively and hence it is bound to give a tough competition to other new mid-range offerings in the market right now. However, despite being a mid-range smartphone, the build quality is where the Honor 6X stands out. Although the design is not a huge departure from the existing devices, the metal gives it a premium feel in the hand which in fact is a deciding factor for most people while buying a new smartphone. And the Honor 6X manages to feel light in hand as well, weighing just about 162 grams. The smartphone also sports a slimmer body, thanks to the curves around the edges. At the back, the dual-lens camera takes the center stage which is nicely complimented by a circular fingerprint scanner which does a great job of unlocking your device within a fraction of a second. And on the front, the Honor 6X sports a 5.5 FHD display which is yet another reason to love this phone.
The display on the Honor 6X has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and it handles pretty much anything you throw at with ease and makes it looks beautiful. Be its texts, images, movies or YouTube videos, everything just looks nice & crisp, and if in case, you feel that it is not as per your liking, then you can also tweak the color temperature from within the display settings. The Honor 6X is also a great performer when it comes to day-to-day tasks, etc. The HiSiicon Kirin 655 might not be the best octa-core processor out there, but still, the Honor 6X manages to handle all the tasks with ease and has enough RAM to keep your recent tasks in memory as well.
The Honor 6X comes with 64GB of internal storage which is something that most mid-ranged smartphones don’t offer and on top of that, if you ever run out of storage, then you can expand the same with a microSD card upto 128GB for packing some extra photos and videos, etc. And then we have the camera which is something that the Honor 6X is known for, and instead of talking in details about the camera, we let you decide if the 12MP rear facing camera along with the 2MP camera is any good to you.
