Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei launched the new 8 Pro smartphone today in India. This is the newest device from the smartphone which they have launched/ Do make a note that the Honor V8 Pro was launched Honor V9 in China. Everything about the Honor 8 Pro smartphone is exactly the same as that of the V9, including the box where you will be getting the same VR cardboard box user experience. Talking about the pricing the Honor 8 Pro smartphone is launched at 29,999 INR and you can get it exclusively from Amazon India website.

The Honor 8 Pro packs a 5.7-inch QuadHD display which means it has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, making it the first Honor smartphone to sport a QuadHD display that is sold in India. Internally, it is powered by a Kirin 960 octa-core processor which is the same processor that powers Huawei’s P10 smartphone. Hence, in terms of the specs, users should not have any issues whatsoever. It also packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage, which should be good enough to store a lot of media, etc. It can also be further expanded via a microSD card upto 256GB.

The camera on this smartphone is, however, the highlight of this device. Just like the Honor 8 smartphone, the Honor 8 Pro also has a Dual camera setup. Both the sensors at the back are 12MP sensors out of which one is a monochrome sensor whereas the other one is an RGB sensor. On the front, for the selfies, we have an 8MP sensor. Since the camera setup is also more or less similar to what we saw with the Honor 8 and other Huawei flagships, you can expect it to work without any issues whatsoever.

The Honor 8 Pro runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and it runs on Huawei’s custom EMUI 5.1 on top of it. The entire package is kept powered by a 4,000 mAh battery as well which should be good enough to keep things powered for an entire day at least, without having to look for a charger. Talking about the pricing, as mentioned earlier, it is priced at 29,999 INR. With this price, the Honor 8 Pro will be direct with the likes of OnePlus 5 in India which is priced at 32,999 INR.
