Moto M XT1662 Smartphone with 4GB RAM & 16MP Camera Spotted in Live Images
Lenovo’s Moto M smartphone with the model number XT1662 was earlier spotted on the TENAA and will be officially launched soon in China. We already got information regarding the specifications of the device along with the first look from the TENAA listing. Now a couple of live images of the device are leaked and also confirms the specs from the TENAA listing. The device comes with a unibody design built out of Aluminum. It has rounded edges and a Moto branding below the display.
The Moto M also got some curve on the back that gives a nice grip to hold onto the device. While all the Motorola devices till 2015 came with almost similar design, the 2016 Moto devices are flat on the back. This new device sports the fingerprint sensor on the back, whereas all the Moto devices till date featured it on the front. It will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with Vibe UI laid on top in China, while rest of the world gets stock Android.
It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The device includes 4GB of RAM and will be available in 32GB and 64GB storage variants. We can also expand the storage on this device with the hybrid SIM slot. In the camera department, the Moto M offers a 16MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and an 8MP front camera. It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that can last more than a day of usage.
The device measures 151 x 75 x 8 mm and weighs 163 grams. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE along with other basic connectivity features. The listing mentions the device to be available in Gold and Silver color options. From the images, we can spot the power button and the volume rocker on the right edge, while SIM slot is placed on the left edge. Earlier this week, the company also launched its affordable Moto E3 Power smartphone in the Indian market.
It is available on Flipkart with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage priced at Rs. 7,999, Today, the company also announced to have sold 1,00,000 handsets øn the first day of the Moto E3 Power sale. Compared to last gen Moto E, the new Moto E3 Power packs comes decent upgrades. Compared to Moto G4 Play priced at Rs. 8,999, the Moto E3 Power seems to a better option.
