Videocon to launch Graphite 2 V45GD smartphone with Marshmallow
Another entry-level handset with Android 6.0 Marshmallow to be launched soon. This time, Videocon has taken the initiative to launch its Graphite 2 V45GD smartphone, and it will be targeting the budget segment market. This device will be available in Space Grey color variant and recently the company has released devices like Videocon Cube 3 V50JL, Videocon Q1 V500K, Videocon Krypton 3 V50JG 4G and many others. Moreover, Videocon is well known in India for selling consumer products like Washing Machines, Air Conditioners, Colour TV’s, Refrigerators and other home appliances.
The Graphite 2 V45GD comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, and there is a 2000 mAh battery on the back that will give a stand-by time of up to 3 days and Talk time of up to 5 hours. There is a 4.5-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with 480 x 854 resolution giving a pixel density of 218 PPI. The handset supports dual SIM, and the connectivity options include 4G FDD, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro USB 2.0 GPS and A-GPS.
Under the hood, there is a Quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor with a clocking speed of 1.0 GHz coupled with Mali T720 GPU and 1 GB RAM. The onboard memory of the device is at 8 GB that can be further extended upto 64GB via microSD card slot. There is a 5MP AF camera on the rear with features like Panorama, HDR, Continuous shot and dual LED flash. On the front there us a 2MP camera with LED flash for enhancing the video calling.
The device comes with Preloaded applications like V-safe, V-Secure, EROS Now, Gameloft Games, Swiftkey, and Opera Mini.
