Lenovo launches the Yoga Book 2-in-1 Laptop Hybrid in India at Rs 49,990

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

Lenovo is known for its Laptops as well as Laptop hybrids as much as it is known for its smartphone lineup. The company first unveiled its newest offering which is the Yoga Book at IFA 2016 in Berlin. It was claimed as the thinnest laptop hybrid by Lenovo, and it truly is quite amazing as it has a thickness of 9.6mm. Hence it attracted a lot of attention at the time of the launch. But sadly this device was not available in India at that time, but now the company has finally decided to launch it here in India. Yes, Lenovo has now launched the Yoga Book here in India at an event today in New Delhi.

The Lenovo Yoga Book is 2-in-1 laptop hybrid, but unlike the other hybrids that are available in the market, this has some unique new capabilities. It comes with a new Halo Keyboard which also doubles as a handwriting pad as well on which you can simply write down your notes, etc. with the help of a real pen accessory(stylus). The Halo keyboard is sort of a touch sensitive surface which just lights up as a keyboard. Using the NoteSaver application, you can see your notes getting digitized in real time as you write. But apart from that, another thing which you should know is that it comes in both Windows 10 as well as Android versions with a slight difference in the price in the international market however, in India we only have the Windows 10 version.

The Lenovo Yoga Book is powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor which is coupled with 4GB of RAM. It has a 10.1″ FHD touchscreen display on the front. It comes with 64GB of internal storage which is expandable via a micoSD card as well upto 128GB. Don’t expect it to have some serious camera capabilities but it does have an 8MP sensor at the back along with a 2MP sensor on the front. It supports 4G LTE, 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and accepts a single Nano SIM. The device also comes with Dolby Atmos sound, and the whole package is kept powered by a decent sized 8,500 mAh battery.

Now talking about the pricing and availability of the Lenovo Yoga Book, it will be available starting today exclusively via Flipkart for 49,990 INR for the Windows 10 version. Feel free to let us know if you would be interested in picking this product up. On the other hand, if you think that you want something more subtle, then you can also check out something else like the Yoga Tab 3 which is yet another premium offering from the company in the tablet space. Do make a note that the Yoga Tab 3 is just a tablet, unlike the Yoga Book which also doubles up as a notebook computer.
