Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 to Feature Curved Glass Back & 16MP Cameras

Samsung will be launching quite a few devices in the next couple of months. While the flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone will be launched during the MWC 2017 at the end of February, before to that, we might the see few mid-range devices. The Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro are first expected to launch in December in China, but the latest rumors suggested both these devices to be launched only in January 2017. Along with the Galaxy C series, the company will also launch the 2017 Galaxy A smartphones. Unlike the Galaxy C series which are exclusive to just China, the Galaxy A series will see a global launch.
Now we got a little more information about the upcoming Galaxy A7 2017 smartphone, not the official details though. While the Galaxy A series are known for their metal built bodies, the Galaxy A7 2017 is said to come with glass on front and back of the device, same as the Galaxy S devices. It sports an Aluminum frame with a curved glass on the rear and a 2.5D glass on the front. The device sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.
Coming to the camera department, the Galaxy A7 2017 will feature 16MP sensors on front and back of the device with f/1.9 aperture. The device is backed by a 3,500/3,600 mAh battery and will come with in-house Adaptive fast charging technology. As seen with earlier launched Galaxy smartphones, the physical home button on the front will also include the fingerprint sensor. Along with the NFC support, the Galaxy A7 2017 can be used for payment using the Samsung Pay. The device will also sport USB Type-C port; even the upcoming Galaxy S8 devices will also shift from using MicroUSB to USB Type-C port.

The device will support dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE out of the box. For the first time, the Galaxy A devices will come with IP68 certification making them both water and dust resistant. From the earlier leaks, the device is said to include the in-house Exynos 7880 octa-core processor. The device listing on the benchmarking websites mentioned to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, but by the time of official launch, we expect the Galaxy A7 2017 to come with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It will be available in Black, Gold, Blue, and Peach color options. Recently, Samsung also launched the Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone in the new Coral Blue and Pearl Black colors.
