Most of these smartphones even come with a fingerprint sensor to enhance the security. Below is the list of latest smartphones priced under Rs. 10,000 in India. Moto C Plus – Rs. 6,999
Just after launching the Moto C, Motorola also brought the Moto C Plus to the Indian market with a price tag of Rs. 6,999. Unlike the Moto C, the Moto C Plus was made exclusive to Flipkart. The device competes with the popular budgets smartphone like Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A. Just like any other budget smartphone, the 5-inch display on the Moto C Plus offers HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It is powered by MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and comes coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. The device packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded upto only 32GB. Talking about the cameras, there is an 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP front camera with f/2.8 aperture. The cameras on the Moto C Plus fall flat when compared to the Chinese smartphones at the same price range. It comes backed by a 4,000mAh battery that should easily last more than a day of usage. Along with the dual SIM support, the connectivity options remain same as on the Moto C.
Yu Yureka Black – Rs. 8,999
Yu, the online-centric brand from Micromax has finally launched its first smartphone of 2017 in the month of June. The new Yu Yureka Black sports mid-range specifications and is priced aggressively at Rs. 8,999. The device comes in Chrome Black and Matte Black color options and is sold exclusively through Flipkart. It comes with a unibody metal design and sports a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. There is also a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the top. Under the hood is the 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. In the camera department, the Yu Yureka Black features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. With all these specifications, the device is kept powered on by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. Even after so much delay in the launch, the Yureka Black still runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The physical home button placed on the front also comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor.
Nokia 3 – Rs. 9,499
The Nokia 3 is the most affordable device among all the HMD Global made Android-powered Nokia smartphones. The device is priced at Rs. 9,499 and comes with basic specifications. However, the Nokia brand has got great brand value among the offline market and the Nokia 3 should do well as it will be sold via retail stores. While the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 uses the Snapdragon chipset, the Nokia 3 settles with the MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor. Finally, we have at least one smartphone from an Indian smartphone manufacturer. The Elyt E7 is the latest budget smartphone from Intex priced at just Rs. 7,999. It comes in Gold color and is available exclusively through Amazon India. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and includes bloatware apps. It sports a 2.5D 5.2-inch display offering HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It is powered by MediaTek MT6737V quad-core processor coupled with Mali-T720 MP1 GPU and 3GB of RAM. There is also 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded additionally up to 128GB via MicroSD card. The Elyt E7 sports a 13MP shooter on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP shooter on the front for selfies. It is powered by a 4,020mAh non-removable battery that is mentioned to give up to 16 hours of talk time and lasts up to 400 hours on standby mode. It measures 140.0 x 71.2 x 7.4 mm and weighs 156 grams. The device also supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE along with other basic connectivity options.
Infocus Turbo 5 – Rs. 7,999
InFocus hasn’t launched any major upgrades in 2017 and during the launch of InFocus Turbo 5, the company mentioned to launch 16 new devices by the end of this year. Let’s see how the company’s new aggressive plan works out amid the intense competition from the Chinese markets both in the online and offline channels. Talking about the Infocus Turbo 5, this new device will be manufactured in India by Foxconn under the Make in India initiative. It comes in Pure Gold and Mocha Gold color options and is exclusively sold through Amazon India. The 2GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 6,999 while the 3GB RAM variant costs Rs. 7,999. It comes with a 2.5D 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor. The device runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. In the camera department, there is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The USP of the device is its 5,000mAh non-removable battery that is rated to give 23 hours of talk time and lasts up to 816 hours on standby mode. It measures 150.0 x 74.0 x 9.0 mm and weighs 163 grams.
Moto C – Rs. 5,999
Motorola will be launching entry-level smartphones under the new Moto C series and the first device to launch is the Moto C. It is priced at just Rs. 5,999 and comes in Metallic Cherry and Fine Gold color options. Unlike the earlier launched Moto devices, the new Moto C will be available exclusively through offline stores. While the company announced the Moto C in 3G and 4G variants, the variant launched here in India supports 4G LTE connectivity. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and is expected to offer a seamless experience with the later version of Android onboard. It sports a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display and is powered by MediaTek MT6737M quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz. The Moto C includes just 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The device sports a 5MP shooter on the rear and 2MP shooter on the front. Both the cameras come accompanied with LED flash for capturing photos even in low light conditions. It includes a 2,350mAh battery and offers connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm Audio port, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
