Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Could Be The Company’s Most Expensive Smartphone
You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Samsung‘s upcoming smartphone, i.e the Galaxy Note 8 is said to be launching in the month of September. To be more precise, according to Venture Beat, the new phablet will be unveiled in the second half of September. However, that’s not the important news here. Apparently, the Galaxy Note 8 could the company’s most expensive smartphone of all time. Well, if are planning to pick up the Galaxy Note 8, then get ready to spend a lot of money.
According to the new reports which we have, it looks like the unlocked Galaxy Note 8 will cost a whopping €999 in Europe, which would be Samsung’s most expensive mass-produced smartphone. Naturally, it is expected to arrive in the U.S for a slightly lower price since the European prices always higher due to VAT. It is expected that the Galaxy Note 8 will cost around $900 in the U.S. However, don’t take our word for this since none of this info is officially confirmed.
Talking about the specs, it looks like the Galaxy Note 8 will have a dual camera setup at the back which would again be the first one from Samsung. It is expected that it will have dual 12MP sensors at the back. On the front, just like this year’s Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus, we would be seeing a dual curved edge display measuring 6.3-inches in size. The aspect ratio is also expected to be the same resulting in a much narrower footprint.
It has been reported that we will be getting 6GB of RAM instead of just 4GB which should allow for better multi-tasking capabilities. Rumor has it that the Note 8 will be powered by the same SoC, however, it remains to be seen if we get something new by the time it launches. The battery is expected to have 3300 mAh capacity which is less than what we saw last year with the Note 7 and hopefully this time things won’t go haywire. We will also see an S Pen with improved software capabilities. According to the source, it looks like the smartphone will be made available in three different color options i.e. black, blue, and gold. Stay tuned for more info.
