InFocus Turbo 5 Smartphone with 5,000mAh Battery Listed on Amazon India Ahead of Launch

You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

InFocus has recently launched the mid-range smartphone called InFocus M5s with 4,000mAh battery in Southeast Asian markets. From the last few days, the company has started teasing about the launch of a new smartphone in the Indian market. While we expected InFocus to bring the InFocus M5s to the Indian market, U.S based company is actually bringing a new device called Turbo 5. Just like all the earlier launched InFocus products, the upcoming Turbo 5 smartphone will also be manufactured by Foxconn.

Compared to M5s, the Turbo 5 comes with less powerful specifications but features a bigger 5,000mAh battery. The device runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It sports a 5.2-inch display offering HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, the Turbo 5 packs the 64-bit MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz and comes coupled with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. There is 2GB of RAM for multitasking on this device and packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to additional 32GB.

Talking about the cameras, there is a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP fixed focus front-facing camera for selfies. The Turbo 5 also supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity on both the SIMs. As mentioned above, the device is backed by a huge 5,000mAh battery that is rated to give up to 23 hours of talk time and lasts up to 816 hours on standby mode. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio port, and MicroUSB 2.0 port.

While most of the specifications remain same on InFocus M5s and Turbo 5, the M5s comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and an 8MP front camera. However, the battery is limited to 4,000mAh capacity on the InFocus M5s. The Turbo 5 measures 150.0 x 74.0 x 9.0 mm and weighs almost 163 grams. It also comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor to make the data on the device a bit more secure. The device comes in Mocha Gold color option and might be exclusive to Amazon India.

Since the company is yet to make the device official, take these details with a pinch of salt. The complete details along with pricing and availability for the Indian market will be announced on June 28th. Having said that, we would like to know your thoughts on this.
