You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
Sony is now going to roll out the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for several devices like the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Premium, http://ift.tt/1myVnvM, Xperia Z4 Tablet and Xperia Z3+. Like all the updates, this will also bring Google’s security patch that was scheduled for the month of July. Before this, the handsets were running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and this new software will bring many bugfixes. Nothing is officially mentioned about the update by Sony yet but is expected to be mentioned to all the Xperia model owners in the coming days.
Currently, it is not clear if these devices will receive any major software updates but the Xperia Z5 series owners will expect Android O to their handsets. The new update will be moving the built number from 32.2.A.2.33 to 32.4.A.0.160. We would recommend you to backup your data before installing the update and also make sure the charge on the device is more than 60 percent.
The Xperia X5 comes with a 5.5-inch display with 2160 x 3840 pixels resolutions giving a pixel density of 806 and is also IP68 certified like most of the Sony devices and is powered by an Oct-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 430 GPU. There is a 23MP camera on the rear with LED flash and a 5.1 MP secondary camera. On the back, the device is powered by a non-removable 3430 mAh battery that comes with Quick Charge 2.0 support.
There is also a fingerprint sensor on the rear to enhance the security levels on the device and has 32GB of onboard storage that can be extended further up to a maximum of 256GB via microSD card slot. Do you own any of these devices? If yes, which one? Stay tuned to PhoneRadar and comment in the section below if you have more queries on the same.
