You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the launch of refurbished Galaxy Note 7 smartphone. Multiple reports have come out so far talking about the launch of the smartphone, however, the new reports which we right now, pretty much confirms the launch of the smartphone. Yes, according to the source, Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Note 7 Fandom Edition in South Korea in the month of July. In fact, it reports that the launch date is July 7th to be precise.
This new report certainly puts an end to all the other rumors, however, it remains to be seen if this turns out to be true. It has been reported that smartphone will be available to purchase on the given date for under KRW 700,000 which roughly translates to about 40,000 INR. Well, this turns out to be true, then customers will be able to get their hands on the smartphone starting next week and in fact, it is a steal at that price point. As far as the availability is concerned, it looks like there will be a sufficient number of Note 7s in South Korea as the company is planning to ship around 400,000 units of the smartphone.
Having said that, there is no info about the launch of the smartphone in other markets. It was earlier reported by the company that it will be launching the smartphone in few other markets other than South Korea as well. However, it is not known as to how many units will be available and where. As far as the specs of this smartphone are concerned, everything about the smartphone is going to be the same except for the battery capacity. Obviously, the company would have changed the battery on these since that was the reason behind the whole fiasco.
It has been reported that these newly refurbished units will have a slightly smaller battery in comparison to the variant which was launched originally.
