The South Korean giant is now working on a new device called as the Galaxy Stellar 2 which will be the successor of the Galaxy Stellar that was released way back in the year 2012 and it was exclusively available on Verizon. According to the new leaks, an official looking photo gallery has leaked with the Galaxy Stellar 2 moniker attached to it along with few specifications of the same. This mid-tire device will come with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, and rumors are circulating that the handset could be priced around $102 or 699 CNY.

The successor of the Galaxy Stellar will come with the model number SCH-i300 and feature a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with 720p resolutions and 2.5D radian glass. The handset will come with a Plastic body with metallic frame and will have rounded edges to give a better grip. There is a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button on the front to enhance the security levels and gives secured online transactions. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm eight nuclear Xiao Long 626 processor coupled with 2.5GB of RAM and 32GB of on onboard storage.

On the camera front, there is a 5MP camera on the rear which is quite low when compared to the new smartphone that is coming into the market, and there is a 1.2MP front-facing camera for video calls and selfies. To power the handset there is a 3500mAh battery that comes with a Quick charge 2.0 charger to support fast charging. There are connectivity options like microUSB, 4G, Bluetooth, and GPS.
