Nokia 6 in Copper variant to be released in the US in August – Prime Exclusive model

When Nokia made it back, we expected nothing less from them and now the Nokia 6 which will be officially released in the US in the coming days as announced by HMD Global. Now, Amazon says that the device will be released on 10th of July but only the standard model along with the black, Prime Exclusive model will be available. The new Copper version of this Nokia 6 will be released only after 18th of August, and it can be placed for a pre-order now.
The Copper version of the Nokia 6 will be available as a Prime Exclusive model both with and without ads. The standard model of the Nokia 6 is priced at $229 while the Prime Exclusive model can be bought for $1799.99. Both these models are unlocked and work on AT&T as well as T-Mobile but do not work with US Cellular, Sprint, and Verizon. The device is made of aluminum and is claimed to be stronger than most of the device in the market.
Coming to the specifications of the Nokia 6, the handset comes with a unibody design with a IPS display size of 5.5-inch with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB RAM. There is a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that can last the entire day on normal usage.
There is a 16MP main camera sensor with PDAF and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The onboard storage is 32GB that can be further expandable via the MicroSD card slot. The physical home button placed beneath the display also features a fingerprint sensor for enhancing the security levels. It will come out of the box with Android 7.1 Nougat and might get updated to Android O once it gets released.
On the website, it is also mentioned that the Prime exclusive phones are intended only for Amazon.com U.S account holders, and few benefits would not be available while traveling internationally.
